I heard that the limit for small claims in Ontario has gone up? Has this actually happened and what is it?

Hi Anne, yes this is true, the limit was raised to $25,000 (from $10,000) on January 1 2010 to make it easier for more people in Ontario to take a case to the Small Claims Court. The limits by province are posted here http://legalcanadacommunity.co…..t%20Limits
