Hello, I am looking for some legal advice, if you can help me.

Two days ago my car was vandalized, I found out when I got up in the morning. I have a pretty good idea who this is, i have repeatedly  berated my neighbor's teenagers for damagng my fence when they park their car. So now my tires are flat, the windshield is broken and there are human excrements in my car. What can I do to get them repair my car?

Hello Ms Higgs,


My best advice to you would be to file a lawsuit at the Small Claims court in your province. Starting January 1, 2010 the maximum amount you can claim from Small Claim Court is up to $25,000, so if you win, this will cover all expences for repairing your car.
