I had an accident 2 years ago involving my car and another vechile. A police report was filed but no charges were taken against me since i was unconcious, i was the one found at fault. I'm not debating that point. I was glad just to have that whole ordeal taken care of. Then 2 years later it came back to haunt me the guy has filed a case against me for vehicle damage. 3 days before the 2 year mark was up. I had car insurance during the accident, and for about a year afterwards. I dropped my policy around 6 months ago because i was unemployed and couldn't afford it. will the coverage help if it comes to court etc?
