Hello there,


As you people deal with legal matters, here is a case for you. I was issued a ticket in May and paid it in June to the Provincial authorities in Ontario (this is where I live) Now I am being chased by the municipality for the same fine. I am certainly not paying it twice! What is your advice?

Dear Ms Lafayette,


My advice to you is to go to the municipality and show them the receipt for your payment to the province of Ontario. You will not have to pay twice the same fine.
