Hi, I recently had to attend a landlord tenant hearing where where they accussed my of partying all night long and inviting male visitors in. So what- it is my own place and I can do whatever I please, no?

You do have responsilibites under the Residential Tenancy Act and if your actions were causing a disturbance then you landlord was legally within his rights to apply for a Residential Tenancy Board hearing. If you have future problems like this you should talk to your landlord first before the problem escalates and consider mediation if you can't solve the problems together.
