Why should i have to pay rent to my uncaring landlord who tries to pass my appartment as habitable when it is  clearly a health hazard? My flat has mould on the walls and ceiling, the stench is gut wrenching and OK the rent is low but still – can I sue the landlord?

Ramy

FYI- withholding rent is not a legal response to the landlords neglect of the property. You should explore your options and do this through the Landlord and Tenant Board. Perhaps you should consult with a Paralegal who specializes in these matters
