Hello

I rent out an appartment complex and I have recently had a tenant who broke his lease 6 months before it ended. The apartment is still unoccupied. Can I sue for 6 months rent?

Yes you can submit a claim to the Small claims court. There are several other ways to solve a dispute before taking legal action: You should try to make a written demand first, in which you ask the other party to settle your small claim in full by a specific date.
