Hi,

I worked for this cheque cashing company. One day manager/owner told me to pick up a cheque from this customer and bring it back to shop. I did that. turns out that customer obtained the cheque by committing some fraud. police arrested me and the manager for cashing the cheque saying that we were accomplice.

Now police is dropping the charges after 7 long months cause they couldnt find any evidence against me.

police also dropped the cases against the company and manager.

My question is that who pays my legal fees? do i get it from company or by filing a civil suit against police department?

Based on the information you have given it seems like both police and store owner are responsible for your legal fees. More info is needed on this case to really say who is liable.
