SIMON SKULLEY

I live in Quebec where me and my wife got married. we lived here for around 7 years, our marriage broke down and she went to live in Ontario with her mother. I want to divorce her but would the issue of living in different provinces cause problems.

This doesn't matter in a divorce for the most part. There is just a extra piece of documentation to fill out which is known as the residency requirement of the province that you currently live in. You can get a divorce in the province where you currently reside.

Kind Regards
