My bastard of a husband filed for divorce the next day after he inherited a large sum of money and a yacht from his great uncle. i want half of it and i dont care if he goes. he says I am getting nothing. Do I need a lawyer?

This is an unfortunate situation because under Canadian divorce law inherited property, which was not used as part of the matrimonial home, is excluded from the division of assets, but personally with so much at stake I would consult a divorce lawyer, but read up on Canadain divorce law before hand at http://legalcanadacommunity.co…..law-canada
