Hello, I am a single dad with custody of my two children. My ex-wife took me back to court a year or so later to try and vary the order and get sole custody from me. It has been a lawyer battle for almost 18 months with a full investigation already having been done by The office of the childrens lawyer with the recomendation for sole custody to myself. An offer to settle was then drafted and sent to my ex wifes lawyer and they have toyed with it since then which was in September of 2009 until now. Now I am in a position that I cannot afford to pay my lawyer anymore and my lawyer has cut off further contact with me until I come up with more money, which at this point is near impossible due to my current situation. This case is pretty much complete yet It is now in limbo and I don't know which way to turn or how to go about continuing on my own to finish this already. Can you help with any advise? Im sure im not the only one who has run out of money during a court battle. Please help if possible, Thank-you.
